Dr. Cabrera is a Member of the Graduate Faculty of Texas A&M University, and can serve as a Chair, Co-Chair or Member of Graduate Student Advising Committees.
�� Research activities:
Conducts applied/basic research in woody ornamental (nursery and landscape) plant production, nutrition, physiology and management that lends to improved production and environmental practices. Some specific areas of study include: characterization of nutrient-water uptake and use efficiency in woody (roses, crape myrtles) and herbaceous perennial crops; evaluation of nursery production and management practices and their effect on post-transplant performance in the landscape; salinity and water quality; management of container growing media.
