Explore the Possibilities:
Undergraduate research opportunities are a great way for students to gain hands-on experience in plant science and laboratory methods. Students are matched with a faculty member who will oversee her or his research project and provide guidance. This gives students a chance to consider a career in research and many may decide to continue into a graduate studies program.
Students enroll in Hort 291 or 491 to receive credit hours for research projects. Students may have the opportunity to travel to scientific meetings to present their findings. For current placement opportunities, complete the contact form or speak with your advisor to get started.
