The certificate in Controlled Environment Horticulture gives you essential knowledge and practical skills in hydroponics, vertical farming, greenhouse and nursery production, management and business operations. Through this program, you’ll gain production and management skills needed for the rapidly expanding industries of ornamental, vegetable, and urban and protected structure production systems.

- To apply, you must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at Texas A&M University. You may also be required to obtain permission from your departmental advisor.
- Any major at Texas A&M University can apply.
- An overall Texas A&M University GPA of 2.0 or higher is required for acceptance into the certificate program.
- You must complete the Controlled Environment Horticulture Certificate program application.
