Already in the Texas A&M University System and interested in a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor in Arts in Horticulture? You’ve come to the right place.
Below are a few items we look for when considering Change of Majors:
- Have at least a 2.0 GPR on graded coursework at the time of application to be considered.
- It is preferred to have successfully completed a minimum of three (3) credit hours from the following list of courses: MATH 141, MATH 142, CHEM 101 & 111, and either BIOL 101 or BIOL 111.
- Excessive grades of Ds, Fs, Qs, NG’s and/or W’s (more than four total) should be addressed when meeting with an advisor.
- A genuine interest in horticulture.
